Re: Club/Bar - 19 years ago
I checked with club 40/40 about access for those under 21 and they are allowed in during the earlier hours but need to be out of there by 10 - 10.30 pm. Not sure how they are going to check this, but that is what I was told on the phone.by pbuyse2 - Ask a New Yorker :

Re: Chinatown Choices - 19 years ago
Actually I just wanted to know which one to chose between Ten Pell and Wo Hop, took me a long time to cut it to those 2 after extensive surfing. So no need to offer any other names. The reviews on Menupages on Joe's are not so good recently. Txby pbuyse2 - Ask a New Yorker :

Chinatown Choices - 19 years ago
I have it narrowed down to 2 choices for lunch in Chinatown, Ten Pell and Wo Hop. Anyone been there ? Comments please. And in order not to confuse me anymore, please do not suggest any other places, lol. Txby pbuyse2 - Ask a New Yorker :

Re: crowne plaza times square - 19 years ago
It seems you may have picked the wrong time to try to stay there, the same room you can get in April or June for 211 to 269 costs between 369 and 399 during that time of the year. The Intercontinental hotel website does guarantee they have the lowest rates on the internet, and so far I have found that to be true with them.by pbuyse2 - Ask a New Yorker :

That site has not been updated in since 2004. If the place opens again on Palm Sunday that will be March 18th this year.by pbuyse2 - Ask a New Yorker :
Re: Feather dream catcher earring - 19 years ago
You could try a Western wear store, there is one at 486 Broadway called Western Spirit. Seem to remember last time I was there they had some dream catchers, not 100 pct sure about the earrings though.by pbuyse2 - Ask a New Yorker :
Re: hip hop bars/lounges - 19 years ago
Thanks, I had all that info. but somehow never bothered calling there. Called then and those under 21 can get in, as long as they are gone by 10 10.30 pm and are accompanied by an guardian. And I was told they open at 5pm during the week. Guess we may not get to be there when things are happening, but at least we will be able to get in.by pbuyse2 - Ask a New Yorker :

The 40/40 Club is a trendy sports bar with a futuristic décor with gray Italian marble floors, yellow suspended swinging lounge chairs and gold wall banquets. They provide several dining areas and the second floor has an additional bar, VIP rooms, cigar and pool lounge. Guest can sit on the stair landing; its three tables have a perfect view of the flat-screen 10-foot wide screen TV. Music is a mby pbuyse2 - Ask a New Yorker :

Re: Driving to Woodbury Common - 19 years ago
And where did I lose my calm. Just looking for questions to my answers is all. Have been to Woodbury several times in the past but never by car. Best time to leave and enter Manhattan is the info I would like from New Yorkers. Not if Woodbury Common is worth going, cause for us it is. Txby pbuyse2 - Ask a New Yorker :
