I have an electric clock in the shape of a ship that was made by United Metal Goods Mfg. Co. Inc and I would like to have it cleaned and tuned (it still works, but is noisy). The metal sails also need to be polished. How do I go about that? I seem to remember that it once had strings on the sails as well, but they have dry rotted by now.

I too have inherited a clock #702, Made in USA, from the United Metal Goods MFG.CO.INC. of Brooklyn , New York. My mother bought it years ago in a yard sale. It's a matador fighting a bull. Anyone have one of any information about it. This is the first website I have found that was close to this clock. Please email me with any information, much appreciated/

Hi all! I have a United Electric Clock Corp clock also. It is a sailor in rain gear, wrestling to steer a large ships wheel. At the base is the name "STORM". On the back, it has "REGUS Pat. No. D-89422" I bought it several years ago at an antique shop in Galveston, Texas. Any info about it would be really appreciated.

I also have a United Corp clock model #422. It is gold with a fireplace that lights up with small bulb. It has 2 chairs in the front, one with a man reading newspaper and one with a woman holding a small child in front of a spinning wheel, both sitting in front of fireplace. The chairs around.
Any ideas on the worth.
Thanks
Kathy
