There are hundreds of shops on 5th Ave and in Times Square with loads of cards. I can't remember the exact price for an airmail card but it was around 37 cents.by Karen - Ask a New Yorker :

Save time(and money) on your visit to the Empire Ste...Go to Jack Dempseys pub on W33rd St, have a meal and they have a VIP pass that they'll lend you to bypass ALL the queues....you can save hours! And the meals aren't bad either!by Karen - Ask a New Yorker :
