Re: LaGuardia airport - 19 years ago
That's a great idea. We left from La Guardia on the way to Vegas last year, and I have to admit, I thought it was a canny little place...better than JFK, although I have heard horror stories about delays. Thankfully ours was fine.by Karen - Ask a New Yorker :

Re: Apartments - 19 years ago
Jacks B and B was great, but they are only one bedroomed, and although there is a sofa bed in the apartments, I wouldn't recommend it for 2 couples.by Karen - Ask a New Yorker :
Re: Apartments - 19 years ago
Try www.nyhabitat.com, www.lodgis.com, www.vrbo.com and there are always apartments on craigslist.org.by Karen - Ask a New Yorker :

Re: Happy New Year - 19 years ago
Happy New Year officially from England too. We have just had our first proper New Year family lunch with my mum here, but David's mum is still in hospital so there were only the 5 of us. Had a good New Years Eve in the local pub where we bumped into friends we hadn't seen for a while, so had a few drinks with them. Hope everyone has a good 2005 and stays safe and well.by Karen - Ask a New Yorker :

How about Freemans ? It's on Rivington St and seems to fit the description.by Karen - Ask a New Yorker :
Re: Restaurant in East Village? - 19 years ago
Is it One if By Land, Two if by Sea? That's in the West Village I believe, but it's website does say that it's down a lane , apparently it was a carriage house at one time. Check out the site to see if it's the one you want.by Karen - Ask a New Yorker :
Re: Cheers and Happy New Year! - 19 years ago
David would love that ornament. The Chrysler is his favourite building. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for oneby Karen - Ask a New Yorker :

It'a actually not too bad here...still no sign of snow. Must get round to ordering my shopping , but haven't yet plucked up the energy to do it...you'd think Sainsburys would know instinctively what I wanted and just get it to me wouldn't you ?by Karen - Ask a New Yorker :
