hey guys. im going to new york in the summer for a month to go to the new york conservatory for the dramatic arts. i was just wonder how in the world do yo guys gocery shop up there? i mean with all the apartment buildings and the walking. what do you think is the best way to get all my yummy food while im up there?

We do have supermarkets. Use google maps. Enter your address and click "find nearby" and type in "supermarket." Popular markets here are Gristedes, D'Agostino's, Food Emporium, and others.

You can also order online from freshdirect.com and have it delivered.

You buy as much as you can carry, or you bring a wheeled cart available at any hardware store. There are two supermarkets within six blocks of my apartment, for instance.

I buy all of my seafood, veggies, and fruit in Chinatown (much cheaper!!)
