Wedding Officiants - Help ! June 13, 2005 12:24AM |
Hi there,
Was hoping someone might be able to help me with this one.
My fiance and I live in Australia and are getting married in New York in about a years time. We've done some research about the legal side of things and we have decided that on top of the form signing stuff that needs to be completed we would like an officiant to come to our hotel room and perform a small service there.
Neither of us are religious so we're not really looking for a religious officiant but we were hoping that we might find someone who was perhaps a bit different to the usual inter-religious officiants.
Does anyone know if there is a directory or something of officiants that are available in the NYC area ? Does anyone have any idea what their typical charges for officiating might be ?
Any help on this greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Simon

I did a google search and there were a few links with not much information, but one link seemed quite useful...[www.weddingofficiants.net].
I don't think it's an exhaustive list by any means, but should get you started.
Good Luck
