Any notion that talk is cheap can be dismissed every Saturday night when
Laura Smith takes to the airwaves for her Saturday Night Cafe on WABC radio.
Indeed, if you want to be entertained then Laura’s show is compulsory
listening.

Laura takes talk very seriously which is one of the reasons her audience
loves to listen to her. In her own words “if people want politics they have
Limbaugh but for for a break in conservative and political format they
listen to Laura.”. Certainly Laura is building a strong following, as she
offers both information and entertainment, all delivered with her
distinctive velvet voice.

With it’s clear-channel signal 77WABC covers not only New York, New Jersey,
and Connecticut but can also be heard at night in 38 additional States as
well as Canada. What’s more in this digital age listeners from all over the
world can follow Laura on line. 77WABC is the number one streamed radio
station in America. Truth is Laura Smith’s audience is growing and growing
and this digital age has made her even more in demand.

Laura’s radio following is in many ways a logical conclusion for this
attractive brunette who started life as a theater actress and still has a
thriving career doing voice overs. The truth of the matter is Laura’s voice
is delightful and people just love to hear her talk. Equally importantly:
while Laura has a lot to say she also loves to listen. Her ability to get as
much information as possible from her guests not only makes her the perfect
radio host but has turned her saturday night show into a great happening and
the place guests want to be.ASC_0534

The Saturday Cafe is a combination of a lifestyle, entertainment, and
information show that focuses on New York now and keeps listeners in the
know about what we should know! The show moves through it’s two hour slot
with stream roller speed and the efficiency of an extremely smart phone. No
area of what interests New Yorker’s goes unnoticed and Laura chooses a wide
variety of guests who both entertain and inform her discerning listeners. Laura Smith is always on the look out for interesting and entertaining guests  which often include actors, authors and other notables on the show. Laura confesses she would love to invite Joel Osteen as well as Mark Burnett  and learn more about his recent miniseries on The Bible.

A combination of fascinating guests and her vivacious personality is gaining
Laura attention .
Laura’s show is being dubbed ‘the other Saturday night live’ which is not
surprising because Smith is also more than capable of getting a few laughs
during her two hour cafe.

Interestingly, with an ever increasing on line audience Laura doesn’t worry
about the future of radio in this digital age but believes the medium is on
an upswing. “no matter what happens there is something unique and very
intimate between a radio host and their audience. I have a unique
relationship with the listener and radio is here to stay!”

A quick listen to The Saturday Cafe is confirmation that Laura Smith is here
to stay and her audience is growing and growing. Listen up New York, it’s
Saturday Night and Laura’s live on the radio! Watch that AM dial because
Laura’s worth listening too!
