Residents and store owners in the East Village are standing by their man, Alec Baldwin. Speaking on condition of anonymity, they told “Ask a New Yorker”, ” We see Alec everyday and he has no hatred in him. He may have a bad temper but he is not a racist.” One resident from the caribbean wholeheartedly agreed.” There is no way Alec is a racist. I see him everyday and he is always friendly and charming.”

Baldwin’s alleged latest headline making remarks have turned his neighborhood into a media stake out location. Ask a New Yorker is waiting to see how this story unfolds, but it seems he is destined to stay in the news for sometime to come. Stay tuned for the latest Baldwin bulletins from the Alec watch headquarters on East 10th Street.
