Ask a New Yorker: How’s your black Friday going? (we spoke on Nov 28) Tres Jolie : It’s been lovely. We had a nice brunch at Café Le Luke. We had grapefruits and pancakes and French toast with whip cream, mangos and he had a Bellini and I had a mimosa, good comfort food for after the holiday. Now we’re shopping in this beautiful market, Union Square.

Ask a New Yorker: Where are you from originally?

Tres Jolie: I’m not from New York. I’m from Alabama. But I’ve lived here for four years. I’m a New Yorker.

Ask a New Yorker: How was your Thanksgiving?

Tres Jolie: Actually we went to a lot of different events yesterday and enjoyed Thanksgiving at a number of different homes. So it was a lovely holiday. It’s been a great weekend.

AskaNewYorker: Any good Thanksgiving Day stories?

Rayon: There was a fifty year old couple making out on the table for picture purposes. (Laughter)

Tres Jolie: I heard an interesting story about a couple who are 50 years old and are very much in love. They showed pictures of a Ball that they went to recently. They really cherish love and relationships and I thought it was such a beautiful thing and I hope to be there when I’m fifty. They were both Air Force Master Sergeants.

Ask a New Yorker: Sexy photos of two elderly Air Force Master Sergeants. Yum.

Tres Jolie: Yes, very sexy and racy photos. Very passionate.

Ask a New Yorker: What do you do in this great city?

Tres Jolie: I’m a corporate paralegal. I work for a company called Integrative Nutrition where I work on the legal side of things. It’s a great place to work.

Ask a New Yorker: Who is this guy?

Tres Jolie: He is a lovely friend of mine, a great photographer, everybody should hire him. Rayon is his name. I think you would be very smart if you contacted him at http://www.rayonrichards.com/

Ask a New Yorker: You are very uber. Where did you find those cool shoes?

Tres Jolie: These are Chinese Laundry. Thank you. I love leopard prints. I’m all about that.

Ask a New Yorker: What brand are the jeans?

Tres Jolie: They are by a European designer. I’m not even sure of the name. I really like them.

Ask a New Yorker. The scarf, cashmere?

Tres Jolie: (Laughter)Yes it is, Bebe.

Ask a New Yorker: We have a month left before making our new years resolutons. Have you thought of any yet?

Tres Jolie: Just to be the best me I can be in 2009. And to fulfill every dream or at least as many dreams as I can.

Ask a New Yorker: Have you ice skated yet this year?

Tres Jolie: Not yet. I hope to. I would really like to go to Bryant Park and do some ice skating.

Ask a New Yorker: Is that your favorite rink?

Tres Jolie: Absolutely, but I love Rockefeller Center as well.

Ask a New Yorker: Rayon, help me out. You’re welcome to lob a question in, she has given you a great plug.

Rayon: Yeah, I just bought this chair here for the apartment. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it.

Ask a New Yorker: So you live together?

Rayon:(laughter) No, no, no. The living together thing is for the birds. Not until we’re married.

Ask a New Yorker: How many pocket books/bags do you own?

Tres Jolie: Probably fifty plus.

Ask a New Yorker: You are Uberchic. Do you know any French?

Tres Jolie: Je m’appelle Jacinda. Je suis Tres jolie.

Rayon : (laughter) Who says, “I am pretty”?!

Tres Jolie: I meant to say jovial; I didn’t mean to say that, delete that….

Ask a New Yorker: Have you ever lived in France?

Tres Jolie: I have not lived in France but I have been to Paris. I loved it. It’s one of my favorite cities.

Ask a New Yorker: Lot’s to do, people to see, chairs to place in your new apartment and you’re off to….?

Tres Jolie: I have to go take care of my beautiful little Bella. She’s a Persian cat. She’s gorgeous. And I have to get started with my weekend. I just moved into a new apartment.

Ask a New Yorker: Last question…what’s the best feature of your apartment?

Tres Jolie: The French doors.

Ask a New Yorker: Bien! Thank you!
