If you have dreamed of taking the trip of a lifetime but don’t know where to go then Teresa Zirkel, founder of Zirkel The World has you covered. What’s more she even arranges New York evenings so you can plan your trip with people who have literally been there and done it. Additionally, if you have no one to travel with Teresa can also take care of that as well.

Teresa Zirkel wants everyone to have a really memorable vacation, and though she believes seeing the world through a book or movie inspires dreams, and imagination she says nothing beats traveling and seeing the world through our own eyes. It is priceless. Zirkel says: “We live in a magical world of beauty, mystery, and wonder. Each experience you encounter is like a seed that is planted inside of you, and an experience you can’t fully explain nor forget. Traveling is something in our blood that makes us grow and enriches our lives. This is what inspires me to not only travel, but to take others on a journey of their own.”

Teresa has had many adventures of her own.:Swimming with a pod of dolphins in the Red Sea, kayaking through the Fiords of Norway, watching the sunset in the Sahara Desert, hiking on Exit Glacier in Alaska, and visiting India are just a few of her fondest experiences.

All of her trips are created, designed, and planned through Zirkel The World and certainly offer a more personal touch than any of those you would get with regular travel agents. Teresa Zirkel has literally plotted, and planned each trip herself and gone on them. With group sizes between 8-15 people, there is also a far more personalized service .than you would get from the larger companies. In fact you don’t have to think at all on Zirkel The World trips because Teresa does all of that for you. She certainly won’t recommend anywhere she hasn’t been herself.

Even if you just want to get away for the weekend Zirkel The World has you covered there too!

“When I started Zirkel The World, I decided I wanted to offer trips across the globe, internationally, as well as domestic- a wide range of trips.  Many New Yorkers are looking to use a minimal amount of vacation days, so I offer many weekend and long weekend trips for people to squeeze in that away time.” Says Zirkel.

” Nantucket and Martha Vineyard, Iceland Northern Lights, Cuba, or Grand Canyon and Sedona are a few long weekends I offer.  Internationally I run trips for longer periods of time ranging from 8-14 days.South Africa, Morocco, Alaska, Ireland, New Zealand, and Japan are just a few of the current longer trips for 2013.” She says.

Deciding what trips to organize is not easy but Teresa gets it done. She says:”It’s not easy choosing trips as there are so many to choose from!  I enjoy the creative, planning, researching, and organizing part of my job.  This is to me, is just as exciting as running the trip itself.  All the activities, as well as restaurant reservations at the best restaurants in the area are planned for each trip.”

Interestingly enough most of Teresa Zirkel’s clientele sign up solo for the trips, and end up walking away with a handful of new friends!  You will get paired up with another solo traveler for rooming, unless you want to have a single supplement or sign up with a friend. Zirkel the World’s  next Happy Hour is on Tuesday April 30th  and is open to anyone who would like to go at the Kitano Lounge Park Ave and 38th St  When: 6:30-9:30pm   April 30th.

Hi, Teresa. I’m Michele Dimizio’s friend. She HIGHLY recommends that I contact you. One of my twins who lives with me will be turning 25 on February 1st. I wanted to give her a lovely memorable getaway travel gift, where together we would visit someplace beautiful for up to 5 days. She’d love to go to Hsvana, but I don’t know if you offer that trip?

Anyway, I wanted to leave around January 30th in time to then celebrate her 25th someplace magical.

Are you running any tours around that time? How can I look at your upcoming travel packages, Teresa?

Please email me with your updates, as I am interested for me and my daughter, Vania.

    Thank you.

    Linda
