Or the quintessential, "Are you a New Yorker?" I was an occassional vistor from the Catskills when I realized that waiting for a bus on Madison Ave could be much more engaging with a few shared kvetches about New York. I've been told, and experience holds true, that the first thing evidenced by those of the fairer sex is the hands. Get a manicure. Use lotion. September is the best month in the Hamptons although early October is great too. There is plenty to do including shopping, walks on the beach (water is warmest of the year in early Sept), and riding your bike or blading on the south side of 27 amongst some of the most beautiful beach mansions anywhere. Street cleaning map - 18 years ago
Does anybody know where I can get a map or a list, street by street, of the street cleaning times for NYC? For example, on Charles St, they will be cleaning the streets M&Th 11:00 to 12:30 and T-F 11:00 to 12:30 etc etc??? I have searched everywhere.
