I travelling via Borston to NY. Taking the Greyhound which will bring me to Port Authority. To save on hotel costs I was thinking of staying in Queen, Brooklyn or New Jersey. Which would be the best option - we want to travel into Manhattan each day and we fly home from JFK?

If you're flying out of JFK, it makes no sense to pick a hotel in New Jersey. There are very good budget hotels in Long Island City, which is a neighborhood of Queens just across the East River from midtown Manhattan. Pick a hotel that's near the subway and you can be in Manhattan in 10-15 minutes. Well-reviewed hotels include The Verve, Holiday Inn Manhattan View, and others. Here's a link to reviews:
