Hi there,
I want to go from JFK to Pen Argyl, PA.
Is it possible to get there via a bus or a train? If not then could someone please tell me the likely cost of a cab and which company is best to use for such a journey?
Thanks!
Paul

I would suggest you contact either the hotel or friends/relatives you're staying with. I searched google maps, and the nearest rail station I can find appears to be in Stroudsburg, where there's an Amtrak station. I can't even find any buses that go to Pen Argyl from New York's Port Authority Bus Terminal.

A taxi will not take you two states away, either.

In any case, it makes more sense to fly into Newark, which at least is only one state away. And, I'm not sure, but even Philadelphia might be closer. Then perhaps you can hire a rental car and drive yourself, or hire a car and driver.

No taxi cab is going to take you out there.

You either rent a car and drive it or you take the bus.

Pen Argyl is midway between Easton, PA and Stroudsburg, PA.
Greyhound, TransBridge, and Martz serve the area.
