I'll be spending a month in NY this summer taking a class. I'm looking at 2 housing a options: Morningside Heights (near Columbia) and Jackson Heights (Queens). Now, Jackson Heights is 40% cheaper. Both locations involve the same type of commute to lower Manhattan. On the whole, which would provide me with a better NYC experience? I appreciate anyone who can weigh in on this.
