The New York Rub

Rub off a piece of history from the streets of New York.

A Rubbing: An impression of an embossed or incised surface made by placing a piece of paper over it and rubbing with graphite, crayon or other coloring agent.

It's a three hr tour of the best rubs in the city. NYC Traffic to NYC Sewers Made In India and much much more...

I love industrial rubbings, and that would be great. Any brass plans? Plaques, reliefs, ecclesiastical sources? Hmm. Wondering about the mausoleums at Trinity up by 156th or Greenwood cemetery -- and maybe St Thomas or St Johns? or Stuyvesant church? hmmm
