Fire Isalnd is a great weekend getaway. Also Princeton is interesting old town. NJ Transit 1 hr 15 min. Walking around the hallowed campus you feel a wee bit Einsteinian. Grounds for Sculpture is two stops before Princeton Junction. This is a world class sculpture garden.

My dear friend Jim Bulger an old family friend ownes the Swan Hotel in Lambertville, NJ on the Delaware River. 1 1/2 hr from The Port Authority $30 r/t Lambertville is a quintessential east coast small Revolutionary town. A great day trip or weekend getaway. I spent the weekend with Jim and dined at the Swan Hotel aka Anton's Elegant,quaint..Jim has an amazing eye for antiques and placement of all kinds of artifacts. Around the corner from The Swan is The Boat House. This is also Jims. It's remarkable...again the design eye of Jim is superb.
