Red Roof Inn

Arriving for my 6th trip to NYC in a few weeks.

I like to try different hotels so I'm in a different location for breakfast/bars etc (Although I do love The Ginger Man bar)

Having seen reviews this time I plumped for the Red Roof on W32nd just a block or so from the Empire State Building.

Anyone stayed there?

What about LaQuinta? Anyone have any comments about LaQuinta next to the Empire State Building?

A friend stayed at La Quinta a few years ago and didn't have anything good to say about it.
