queens neighborhood differences

Hi all,

I am planning on moving to Queens from Manhattan and am trying to narrow down exactly what neighborhood would be best for me. I am thinking it will be one of the following: Astoria, Sunnyside, Woodside or Forest Hills. Could someone who lives in one of these neighborhoods or is just knowledgable about them explain to me the main differences between them? Are they all accessible by the subway? I have been to Astoria and Forest Hills but not Sunnyside or Woodside yet.

I would like something close to subway/mass transit, safe, and with good restaurants/things to do.

Thanks so much.

I live in Sunnyside, since march.
I am half a block from the 7 train 46th St stop. It takes me about 12 min. to get to grand central station.
Nearby I have a couple grocery stores, drug stores, plenty of restaurants, a gym, starbucks, movie theater, plenty of irish pubs, and all other conveniences I'd need.
I like it.
I will let someone else talk about Forest Hills and the other places.
