I want to know the truth. I knew cupcakes and cream puffs are popular
right now(because of TV show). Is that true??

Yoroshiku Kuniko, New York is almost as good as Tokyo for sweets and desserts, but not quite. Cupcakes are still popular.

cookies are also very popular in nyc. especially big cookies with sprinkles, chocolate chips, or the famous black and white cookie (cake-like cookie covered in half chocolate/half vanilla frosting)...you can find ethnic cookies in ethnic bakeries...little cookies, big cookies...lots of cookies.

on Bleeker St. Personally, I think its overrated, but the place gets packed.

Personally you'd find better desserts OUTSIDE Manhattan (ie the Italian areas of the Bronx, Queens & Staten Island).

Again a bit overrated & a tad overpriced, but they have ALL kinds of candy & sweets. You get a cavity just walking into the place.
