If i flew in on Southwest airlines which would actually be easier to get into the city? Flying into Phialdephia, or or Islip?


As much as i love southwest, they dont fly into the most convient places.

I'd say Islip, then take the long island rail road into Penn Station NYC

I agree - Islip and the LIRR - but you're talking two hours into the city no matter what you do. Southwest doesn't really do NYC. Have you tried any of the many low-fare airlines which do - JetBlue, America West, Spirit, or Independence Air?

I loved Southwest too when I lived in CA but JetBlue rules the East Coast, especially NYC. THey fly right into JFK and you can get great fares from the West Coast. I know they fly to/from quite a few places in CA. Might want to look into that as long as you aren't using SWA miles.
