Alright I admit it, I just bought an I pod. I succumbed. I did. My question is regarding the ultimate NYC play list. I moved to NYC a year ago and I'm blown away by the city, every day. I love it. And it would be great to have a list of NYC based songs as I make it through this concrete jungle. Suggestions please.

If you hit this website, you will find more New York City related songs than you can imagine:
Have fun! But my all time favorite New York City song is written by Bruce Springsteen - it is mentioned in a previous response to this one - "New York City Serenade" - Awesome!

White Flag, by Dido
I know it's an odd choice, but I always think of out-of-town people asking if I would move away after 9/11, and how I always said if something happened again (God forbid), I would go down with the ship; I loved New York too much to leave. "I'm in love and always will be."
