Where should a modern art lover go in addition to MOMA?

I will be there in a few days and am very excited to see the gates in Central Park but am clueless about the best places to see modern art.

Whitney Museum, Guggenheim, pick up a copy of Time Out New York to see who's showing at the downtown Galleries.

you should go to PS1, an extension of the Moma, in Long Island City, Queens. It's easy to get to, and if you like modern art, you will enjoy it. see [www.ps1.org]
But, I think it will be closed from Feb. 22 to Mar. 12.
