Now I've been highly interested in New York since I was a little boy, now 21 I've got a decent enough job (not huge paying though) I have a possible chance of visiting the city, finally.
I would just like to know (and call me a cheapskate) where the cheapest hotels or inn's etc, are available. As I'm only looking at a 5 day (minimum) vacation stay. I'm not wealthy so any help would be grateful.
Oh and also would keep my girlfriend happy.

on the east side $89 a nite

I was there , it´s OK - breakfast availlable - TV - Newspaper
but I think for the next weekend no more rooms availlable
I didn´t get one.
