My wife and I are planning a trip to NY. We would like to spent 1 full day of shopping. I have a hard time of choosing between all the outlets and malls.
I read an article about the Garden State Mall. Is this mall better than for example Jersey Gardens ? How do we get there by bus ? How long does is take to get there ? Are there other big malls that are worth a visit in NY or in the area ?

Did you rule out Newport Centre?
It is just a ride on the Inter-City PATH Subway.

thanx for the input. My guess is that Jersey Gardens has more shops and better reviews as well. I hope more people can give me some advice about nearby shopping malls.

All the malls have websites.
Take a look at them to see which stores appeals to.

I am not big on outlet shopping but some foreign visitors think of them as the 2nd comming or something.

Newport Mall in Jersey City and Garden State Mall are just regular malls - not outlet malls.
