we, belgian family of 5, will visit new york 6-12 march
our eldest son will celebrate his 20th birthday on march 9th!

he (and we all) are jazz fans
is there some nice jazz club, jazz café in manhattan (we stay on mulberry street) with good activity that wednesday?
i found lists on several websites (http://www.ny.com/clubs/jazz/), but which one to choose to go to with our 3 teenage boys (well 2 that is from march 9th, time flies..., younger brothers are 16 and 15)....i hope youth is welcome in some of the clubs/cafés?

i see sometimes you pay for meals, and there is a drink minimum? how does that work?
