Hi New Yorkers

Tickets and the Hotel are booked so I’m ready for a week NY, reading through the lonely planet and several websites I have some questions and I hope one of you can help.

I will travel alone and have already a pretty good idea what I want to do; I have tickets for the Knicks and will buy some Broadway tickets when I’m there of course all the tourist spots.

I really enjoy live music, Indie music like TV on the Radio, MGMT, Vampire Weekend, and I just received a tip of the Airborne Toxic Event.

So where are these type of bands playing, and can I get easy tickets for these shows?
