New York City's best coffee?

My wife and I are coming to New York next weekend.

She's a real coffee nut and would like to try any spots that you think have the best coffee. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

If you're on the upper east side, pop into Rohr's.

Ayza at 9 W31st Street, the guys that own the place are Turkish and know how to make it well. Personally I find most of the coffee in NY awful, fortunately I don't drink a lot of it. When I've had friends and family visit from Australia who are coffee buffs they have found it very hard to find a good cup.

In the UWS, Cafe con Leche!!!! on Amsterdam.

I am not a coffe drinker. Had cafe con leche there after dinner one night, and went right back the next morning to have it for breakfast. I still dream about it.
