Security in  New York has been beefed up following the explosions which rocked Boston today.Chief NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said critical response teams are deployed around the city until more about the explosion is learned. Officials are also stepping up security at hotels and other prominent locations. Reports say at least two people died and scores were injured Monday when two blasts ripped through the crowd near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.Multiple media reports indicated a person of interest was being held at an undisclosed hospital. Police said a third explosion hit the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, about 8 miles from the race finish, and about an hour after the first two blasts. No injuries were reported, but nearby universities were being evacuated. Police also detonated a device found along the race course, but it did not appear to have been an explosive device,
