Hold the phone or maybe not anymore! As manufacturers and developers are increasingly experimenting with wearable technology what about a glove phone? This is the latest in an ever increasing trend that has included clothes that display twitter updates, mobile phone headsets, Google glasses, mobile phones that work in conjunction with wristwatches, and bracelets that track your fitness regime. The list for wearable technology is increasing everyday but here’s one you might just glove!

As an experiment in wearable tech, and to highlight the possibilities of recycling old mobile phones in an imaginative way, designer Sean Miles of Designworks was approached by O2 Recycling to experiment at will.

Miles’ latest prototype is customized, bluetooth-enabled gloves, that work in conjunction with a mobile phone. The idea is you speak into the pinkie, and listen through the thumb. What do you think? A thumbs up or down?

It seems most likely that people are going to love these gloves but maybe not on the beach!
