I stayed in the Pennsylvania once when I knew no better and wouldn't do it again. There's a reason it might be cheap....It gets some terrible reviews on tripadvisor.comby Daisiegee - Ask a New Yorker :
Re: football/soccer - 19 years ago
I've just done a bit of searching and there's a place called Tonic in Times Square (www.thetonicbar.com) that is showing games in April. It's at 727 7th Ave between 4bth and 49th Sts, so that would be a little closer to the park area.by Daisiegee - Ask a New Yorker :

...and just in case you don't like Macy's(!), I would suggest getting an open topped tour bus around the city so that you can see for yourself which areas you might like to go back and explore in greater detail. You should also buy an unlimited ride metro pass which gives you access to most buses and subways and can save you a fortune. for full details.by Daisiegee - Ask a New Yorker :

Salsa...we were standing there like 3 twits waving at an empty building on a chilly Easter Sunday while on the phone to Diane's daughter so she could direct us to the best camera spot. There were a few young lads nearby obviously wondering what the heck we were doing and guess what ? O missed us! Yes, missed us. We did however enjoy the pre camera drinks in the local and the after cameraby Daisiegee - Ask a New Yorker :

I went into the library on 5th to check my email and stuff(free access) and to an EasyCafe in Times Square. There's also access in the Visitors Centre in Times Square, but I don't know if the programs are limited.by Daisiegee - Ask a New Yorker :

Not wanting to be too wet a blanket, I don't think the allowance has been increased yet. Apparently we have to have European agreement so it's just in the proposal stage at the moment...there are no details of the increased allowances on the HMCE website. Although,as I said before, I'm no great shopper, it's hard to stay beneath the limit even for me!Fingers crossed the thingby Daisiegee - Ask a New Yorker :
Re: Macys - 19 years ago
I can't remember seeing a Macys in Chicago, although I did see a Bloomingdales. Have you tried their store locator on the website? There are quite a few shops in Chicago, but I'm not a huge shopper so I don't hink I'm the best judge! And...are you going to find a webcam for a follow up performance ? Can't sign in as Karen anymoreby Daisiegee - Ask a New Yorker :
