as far as spas go I would try to get an appointment with Bliss--they are amazing but you need to call in advance or you will never get a good time. The area you're staying in is very crowded as Macy's is right there but if you like shopping that's probably for you. Just don't forget to go downtown to do some shopping also. I always go to Cohens Optical--There are tons of them in the city and usually have good summer deals going on. Theres two I know of --one on 14th and 6th and one on 23rd and park.by meaty55 - Ask a New Yorker :

I need some help please. My boyfriend LOVES soft shell crabs and his birthsay is coming up and I would love to take him to a place that has the best. I do not like them very much so I have nothing to go by--all I know is that he has had city crab's which were ok and aquagrill's which he loved (but is booked on his b-day) so I was wondering if anyone else that loves soft shells had anyby meaty55 - Ask a New Yorker :
