car fare from LaGuardia - 6 years ago
Hello New Yorkers, I will be arriving in NYC in a couple of weeks along with a friend, her grandson, and my niece. The place we are staying said they would provide transportation from the airport (LaGuardia) to the apartment (24th and Second) for a flat rate of $70 (including tolls) We arrive around 3pm. Does this sound like a good price, or could we get a towncar cheaper? Thank you, and looby Julie James - Ask a New Yorker :

Hello New Yorkers, I travel to New York often, my once a year getaway. I have stayed alone in different places and never have any safety concerns. This next Memorial Day, however, I will be bringing a friend, her 14 yr old grandson and my sixteen yr old niece. Lodging with that many is proving a little expensive in Manhattan (where I would like to lodge with the kids) and was wondering what yby Julie James - Ask a New Yorker :

Hello New Yorkers, A friend and I will be coming to NYC memorial day weekend. We would like to visit the WTC memorial and were wondering if there is a long wait to get in. We, of course, will be getting tickets beforehand , but are wanting to do a few things together on certain days, and trying to manage our time a bit. Thank you! Thank you Oracle, This helps so much, I usually stay on the Upper West Side when I visit, so this is new for me.. glad to have these directions beforehand. You\'ve given me so much good advice over the years (since 2003!) Should a St. Louis Cardinals fan root for the Yankees since I root against the Mets when they play the Cardinals...or should we stay with the National league team aby Julie James - Ask a New Yorker :

Hello New Yorkers, I\'m making my annual trip Memorial day weekend and had a question. My friend and I are staying in Bed-Stuy (walking distance to Barclay) and are thinking about going to the Mets Vs Yankees game. I\'ve studied the map and know which trains to take (starting out on the A, C line) and was wondering if anyone had a general idea of how long that trip would take. needing a hoveraround - 12 years ago
Hello New Yorkers, My friend and her mother are planning a trip to the city in December. Her mother can't walk very well and uses a hoveraround (motorized type of wheelchair with handle bars) She was wanting me to ask you if she should bring hers (they're flying in), or if she could rent one in the city? thank you, Julieby Julie James - Ask a New Yorker :
