Re: Carrie Bradshaw - 14 years ago
This thread is hilarious! Everyone keeps repeating the same thing. Okay it's my turn. The stoop is at 66 Perry Street between 4th Ave & Bleecker St. There's a No Trespassing sign and so on and so forth ...by ringo - Ask a New Yorker :
Manhattan Skyline from Queens - 14 years ago
Hi, We arrive in NYC Sunday afternoon and we're staying in Woodside, Queens. I just wanted to know if it is possible to get off the west bound #7 train before Manhattan (I see Vernon Blvd/Jackson Ave is the last stop before the river) to catch an amazing view of the Manhattan skyline. Would this be a good place to see it? What's the neighborhood like? My wife has never been to NYC befoby ringo - Ask a New Yorker :

Henry Hill's Suite - Goodfellas - 14 years ago
Hi, Does anyone know what address on Queen's Boulevard was Henry Hill's joint 'The Suite'? And what neighborhood was it in and what's it like today? I just realised I'll be travelling along almost the full length of Queen's Boulevard from East to West next week and I'll have to jump out and take a photo where Billy Batts had his last drink!!! Thanks! &qby ringo - Ask a New Yorker :
A Day in Brooklyn - 14 years ago
Hi folks, 10 glorious days in NYC coming up and I'd like to spend a full day in Brooklyn with my wife. We fly in from Ireland on Sept. 6th. We plan to take the subway to maybe 3 or 4 different neighborhoods and spend an hour or two in each. Just wondering which ones you'd recommend. I guess what we're looking for is busy little neighborhoods with lots of deli's & bars fulby ringo - Ask a New Yorker :
Age Limit - 14 years ago
Hi, We have a 15 year old in our party and I'm wondering what the law is in the USA regarding entrance to bars. If we want to go into a bar for a drink can she come in with us for a coke? It's different everywhere you go. Thanks!by ringo - Ask a New Yorker :
Typical American Diner - 14 years ago
Hi, we're looking for a typical American diner anywhere in NYC where you can order pancakes and keep getting your coffee refilled by a gum-chewing waitress named Betty who's actually a struggling actress. This may sound like an odd request to New Yorkers but ordering pancakes in Diner's and getting coffee refills is a uniquely American thing we'd love to experience.
