Apparently one person has died. I guess I made it home just before the explosion, because the 4-5-6 are all shut down.

I heard it in the BBC this morning.

I heard about it at my hairdresser's in Sydney.

It scared me! We didn't have the t.v. on once when we were in Seattle, and then the first thing I see when I get home is EXPLOSION IN NY CITY!!! Once I got the jist of what was going on,I prayed for all of those who were really taken aback by it and put into shock. It looked pretty scary.

It scared me too, I hadn't seen a news report before leaving the house yesterday morning at 8am and was told about it at the hairdressers around 11.30am, one of the people there said a building had gone down and there were all sorts of speculations. With one son in NY and another enroute from London I was very concerned. Was relieved last night to know they were both safe. They are probably now sleeping off a big night out which began at Carmines with a group of friends.
