Ok...so these are not MY New York moments, but I got to live them vicariously through a friend recently.
He had returned my call after leaving an appointment with a very interesting person in Greenwich Village. He clearly had enjoyed meeting this man. It was a beautiful day and he was joyful in that he had the opportunity to meet such fascinating people. Then...in the middle of our conversation he said..."Is that Kate Moss?" Whoever she was it was a “seriously beautiful woman"...As he was on the move I asked where he was and he said “4th & Perry”. "4th & Perry?? You are half a block away from Carrie Bradshaw’s stoop!"
A beautiful day in the city, fascinating characters, possible celebrity sighting, walking around in my favorite neighborhood in the *world*...Oh how I wish it had been me!
