I too have this clock, model 701...it's good to know that it was made in 1905, but what would the value be. Mine is in great shape and the clock still works.

I just bought a United Clork Corp Wall Clock. Model No# 40. It has Roman Numerals. When pluged in it makes a humming noise. Can you tell me how much it's worth and a little about it's age?
I have a United Clock that is Franklin D. Roosevelt at the helm. There is a "J" on the back. No patent number or any other marking. I know they made several different styles of this clock in bronze or brass. Could you tell me it's value. I have the origonial clock, but it does not work.

I have the same clock and it is all intact. If you would like I can take a picture of it and send it via e-mail. If interested send me an e-mail so I can send you the picture.
I was just given my clock back from when I was a young girl. It was given to me by my grandfather. He lived in Long Island New York. It is a mantle clock with a wooden base. It looks to be a brass finish. It's a western theme. A horse and on the clock it's has cowboy boots, hat, rope and gun. The clock still keeps time. It looks like you could clean it up with some brass cleaner. The model no. Is 315 and another no. Is 13385-5. It was given to me when I was 9 yrs. old 48 yrs ago.i would appreciate any info on this item. Thanks, Brenda Sowers- Cianciola
