I want to go to the show at Radio City and need to rent a locker for my suitcase while attending the show.

Schwartz Travel at 357 West 36th Street, which offers luggage storage, luggage forwarding, small lockers, a coat check and a modest self-storage facility. They charge $6 to $10 per bag per 24 hour period and are open daily from 8 am to 8 pm.

When you go to Schwartz Travel Services say hello to Mr Schwartz From Ask a New Yorker. He's a great guy.

Hm, I tried to go to Schwartz a while back and nothing seemed to be there.

I live in the city now, but it's always good to know for future references.

Macy's on 34th St has a coat check where you can leave luggage while you shop. And folks, please at least buy some food and a drink if you don't intend to shop there. Its only fair.

I investigated Macy's coat check last year.

"I went to Macy's yesterday to ask about luggage storage for the afternoon. (I did tell them I had five hours to do nothing but shop before my flight.) They will keep the bag...AT NO CHARGE. Here's what you do. Take the escalator to the cellar, turn left at the bottom and you will see the sign for Coat Check. I saw quite a few bags in there. I would have used them today, but my plans changed."
