Is it difficult to get to Manhattan from the Islip, Long Island airport? The flight there is about $200 cheaper than flying in to LaGuardia. Is it worth it? Flying there would save the two of us about $400!!! We're staying at the W in Times Square. Thanks!!!

You must take a $5 van shuttle to the Ronkonkoma train station. From there, there are hourly trains to NYC for around $10. The train takes 90 minutes. So allow 2-2.5 hours each way from Penn Station in NYC to that airport. Find schedules to Ronkonkoma at www.lirr.org.

The W Times Square is terrific. You'll love the lobby bar, but be careful because they do mix the most potent cocktails there.
