I am visiting NY in December for the first time and booked myself into Union Square Inn, Lower East Manhattan. Anyone knows it? I am just wondering whether it is gonna be ok to stay there and if the neighbourhood is quite safe? Thanks.

what was the reaction of the twin towers when they fell and how did you feel about it.

the lower east side is a cool area, and as safe as any where else in the city. you will be fine! Lots of young people around the lower east side. Union square is also very safe! nothing to worry about. have fun!
