I'm going to visit New York the second week of December. I saw on the internet that there was a NHL game wednesday the 11th. Do you advise me to buy tickets online or to buy them just before the game begins (between 0730 and 0800 pm)? And what are the prices then?

If I were you, I'd buy them online before you get here. Go to www.ticketmaster.com
otherwise, the game could be sold out, if you wait til the day of the game to get your ticket. Prices are the same, except ticketmaster probably charges you some sort of inexpensive service fee.
