When we booked our flight to NYC we didn't realize we were coming on marathon weekend. I don't think it'll be any problem getting into the city but our flight leaves out of LaGuardia Sunday at 7:25a.m. How hard is it going to be to get to the airport and how early should we think about leaving our hotel(it's located on W 44th St)

You'll be fine at that early hour, the marathon won't affect you at all. Check with your airline how far ahead you need to be there, and allow about 45 minutes to get to the airport by taxi.
