Restaurants in Greenwich Village

Hi

Could anyone recommend some nice restaurants in Greenwich Village? I know there are loads, but we would love to have any recommendations for places that locals like, and that are not too touristy. We'll be in NYC in early December so ideally places that are nice and cosy - outdoor tables not required!

I had some great tips from this forum last time I visited, hoping for the same again, thanks in advance.

Some of my favorites are:
Po
Crispo
Monte's
Gusto
John's Pizzeria
Home
Amber (I haven't been to this location, but I love their uptown one)
Panca
Tartine

Technically, the Meatpacking District is part of the Village, so I'll also list:
Spice Market
Sea Thai
Pastis

I haven't been to these, but I always here great reviews:
Babbo
Meatball Shop
Mas Farmhouse
Little Owl

Browse through menupages.com, where you can cull the lists by location, cuisine, price, ratings. And double-check reviews on yelp.com, which seems to get more locals contributing reviews.

Thank you so much, that's a great list - will do our best to work our way through them! I'm hungry already...
