Hi there, I'm bringing my 15 year old (going on 25) son to New York in December and he's very keen on going to a jazz club...any recommendations?

Many thanks for the info...just one more question...what are the drinking laws concerning minors...what I mean is in New Zealand a child can go anywhere (any bar) as long as the bar serves food and they are accompanied by an adult (and of course they don't drink alcohol) sooo.... how does it work at a jazz club which has a 2 drink minimum?...or are you not allowed to take anyone underage at all?

No one underage in a lot of those places. Depends on the license they have so you need to check with each club.
