I am looking for apartment in Queens and wonder if anyone can help me decide which area in Queens I should focus on. I am working in downtown area so I guess commute is very importance factor. I have a preliminary list but I am not sure which areas are good. Anyone can give advice? Thanks a lot in advance!

Astoria and Sunnyside are the two nabes that are most popular. Commute fairy easy from down town: 45 min. 4,5,6 to Grand Central, 7 train to 46th Street aka Bliss is the heart of Sunnyside which takes 20 min from Grand Central. To Astoria 7 train transfer at Queens Bourough Plaza to N or Q out to Astoria. Are you looking to rent or buy?
