We are a french couple, moving in august to NY for 3 years. We are thinking about looking for a place in Harlem, but we really don't know about the difference between "East Harlem" "Morningside" "Inwood/Washington Heights"...
Is "East Harlem" and "Spanish Harlem" the same ?
And what is the safer place to live ? The worst ?

Sounds exciting. Here's a thread on Harlem...also search Harlem on site. Harlem is a great place to live. Morningside Heights I know is a desirable safe place to live. Friends of mine lived on the park, great spot. Inwood is futher North....
