Hi there, i am from Iceland and i'm visiting Manhattan NY soon.
I was wondering where are the cheapest design clothes stores, outlets or malls maybe?
Also i was wondering if it would be a good idea to take a train to New Jersey and shop there because some people have told me that is much cheaper.

We are hoping to make it to Paris via Iceland tomorrowAsh be gone...regarding shopping really no reason to leave NYC ....sure people go to Woodberry Commons and other outlets...There's pretty good shopping right here in Manhattan... just walking down Broadway from Union Square you will find all kinds of shopong clothing and otherwise..the idea check out Manhattan first before trekking out....anything in particular your shopping for?

Most European travelers prefer Century 21 in Downtown (near Ground Zero). This is one of the best stores in NY for brands on the cheap.
