I have decided to move to NYC from Miami. I am a 30's, single woman with a dog. I read somewhere that I can find a decent 1 bedroom apt for $1500 or less in the Upper East Side and it's a safe area. I am looking for any and all advice that can prepare me for this move. Where to make new friends? Any neighborhoods I should look into? Car not convenient? Parking? Marketing jobs for Health care? Any information you have to offer is so very welcome and appreciated?
