Is Bryant Park hotel in a safe area to walk around at night?
Is the park safe to walk in at night?
Also, is there plenty of taxi's near?
Walking distance to places to eat?
Any help would be appreciated.

It's a wonderful hotel.Great location. Yes the park is terrific. Zero safety issues, You have New York Public library right there. Depending what time of year your arriving during the winter the park turns into a great skating rink. Times Square is a 10 min walk and Jimmy's Corner is nearby too. Best public restroom is in the park. Plenty of taxis and a subways.

The building was formerly the Radiator Building, and is quite historic. It also was painted by Georgia O'Keefe.

It's the greatest boxing dive bar in the world run by Jimmy and his wife Swanee. Jimmy sat in the corner for many of the heavyweight titles.....Amazing. Great juke box toosmiling smiley
