There are no Wal-Marts in NYC, because land in NYC is too expensive for Wal-Mart. The nearest one is at the Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream, Long Island. There are several K-Marts in NYC, but none of them are really huge. The one connected to the Astor Place subway station on the #6 train line is very accessible.
