where is the best place to buy tickets for shows and for the basketball games, we are coming to new york in May and hope to maybe get tickets for the jersey boys and also take in a basketball game if possible.

Depending on when you come in May, basketball will either be in playoffs or over, and it is safe to say the NY Knicks will not be playing then.

Jersey Boys is a sold-out show where people buy tickets months in advance. If you haven't got yours for May it is doubtful you'll find any regular-price tickets now.

I wouldn't give up so easily! You can go to the telecharge.com site and plug in your dates to see what seats are available. If there aren't seats available, or only terrible seats, go to the theater when you're here. You never know... a friend went last week and got phenomenal seats. Luck was on her side and someone had just cancelled their house seat order!
